To qualify, applicants must:

👉Be officially enrolled in an apprenticeship block training program for a construction trade.

Thank you to Brett McKenzie, Executive Director of the General Presidents' Maintenance Committee, for the invitation to join in recognizing these highly skilled and dedicated Building Trades Union members. These seasoned tradespeople were honoured for achieving 25 years or more of service at the Irving Oil Refinery in Saint John.

Their commitment, professionalism, and contributions have helped build and maintain one of New Brunswick’s most important industrial facilities.

Another win for vocational training in New Brunswick, thanks in part to the New Brunswick's Building Trades Unions Trades Future Alliance Grants. The 2025 Fall TFA Grant for Campobello Island Consolidated School is already paying off.
Huge thanks to Kale Merrill and congrats to the students — The NBBTU hopes many of you will keep building on the skills you've learned and lay the foundation for successful careers in the skilled trades. Let's keep building!
