June 6th marks the anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy during the Second World War in 1944. Known as Operation Overlord, the invasion began on the sixth day of June and became one of the largest amphibious military operations in history. Canadian forces played a major role on Juno Beach, fighting alongside Allied troops in a pivotal moment that helped turn the tide of the war in Europe.

Mercredi 3 juin, c'est tournoi amical de fléchettes à 19h. Arrivez au moins 15 minutes à l'avance pour former les équipes. On jouera tous les mercredis jusqu'à la dernière semaine d'août.

Wednesday June 3 is friendly fun darts at 7pm. Come at least 15 minutes early so teams can be made. We will play every Wednesday until last week of August.

Game Seven do or die, sink or swim, the whole enchilada it all comes down to tomorrow night. The Legion will be open at 6:30 pm for the game at 7:30. Come and have fun.

Nous ouvrirons le Legion samedi à 18h30 pour regarder le match 6. Nous servirons des sandwichs Smokemeat au prix du marché, veuillez nous faire savoir si vous venez manger.

We will open the Legion Saturday at 6:30 PM to watch game 6. We will be serving Smoke meat sandwiches at market cost, please let us know if you are coming and eating.
