We are proud to congratulate two of our amazing learners, Tanya and Blaire, on earning their CAEC!

Tanya joined our program in mid-January and completed her CAEC in less than two and a half months. With four tests to complete, she stayed focused, worked hard, and showed incredible determination. Her dedication truly paid off, and she is now moving forward toward new opportunities.

Blaire brought such positive energy to the classroom. She was always engaged and encouraged others to join discussions. With her joyful personality and strong commitment, she successfully completed her CAEC and is now looking ahead to joining the workforce.

We are so proud of both of you and honoured to be part of your journey. Congratulations, Tanya and Blaire. Wishing you all the best in your next steps! 👏

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Marissa, who has been recognized as a runner-up in the Learning Changes Lives writing contest by the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick.

Marissa’s story is powerful and deeply inspiring. From facing language barriers after moving from a French-speaking community, to falling behind during COVID, to navigating an undiagnosed learning disability, she encountered many “closed doors” in her education journey.

But she didn’t stop there. 💙

Through determination and courage, Marissa found her way to the CAEC program, where those doors began to open again. With the right support and a learning environment that truly meets her needs, she has regained confidence, rediscovered her potential, and is now on her way to becoming the best version of herself.

✨ “The program has given me a sense of worth and belonging… it has revived my dreams of a bright future.”

Marissa’s journey is a reminder that it is never too late to start again, and that with the right support, anything is possible.

We are so proud of you, Marissa. Your story will inspire so many others in our community. 👏

At Charlotte County Adult Learning, every learner has a story, and Barb’s is one that truly touched our hearts. 💙

Barb came back to school with a goal to keep learning, grow her confidence, and build a better future. Like many adults, she faced challenges along the way, including learning struggles and self-doubt. But she didn’t give up. With determination and support, she continues to make progress every day.

Over the past year, Barb has also faced personal loss. Despite this, she chose to keep moving forward, showing incredible strength and resilience. She is not only working toward her own goals, but also setting a powerful example for her family and others in our community.

Her journey reminds us that it is never too late to learn, and that small steps can lead to big changes. We are so proud of Barb and all that she has accomplished so far. 🌱

If you’ve been thinking about going back to school, you’re not alone. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

🎉 Congratulations, Mary! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Mary on her CAEC achievement!

Mary started with us in September with a clear goal in mind. By December, she had already passed all of her subjects except Math. Her determination and focus on building better employment opportunities truly stood out.

Mary brings creativity and artistic talent to everything she does. She also gives back to the community by volunteering at the local animal shelter, which says so much about her kind and caring nature.

Mary, we are so proud of all you’ve accomplished. Keep going and keep believing in yourself. Your future is full of possibilities. 💙

We are so proud to celebrate Yanara and her incredible achievement! 🎉

Yanara joined our St. George program in December 2025 with a clear goal. She was determined to complete her CAEC. As a single mother of two, she showed amazing strength, commitment, and perseverance every single day.

In just five short months, Yanara accomplished what once felt out of reach. Her journey is a powerful reminder that with hard work and belief in yourself, anything is possible.

And she’s not stopping here. Yanara is already enrolled at NBCC St. Andrews for Fall 2026, and we know she will continue to do amazing things.

Great job, Yanara. We are so proud of you. Now go pursue your dreams. 💙
