The Netherlands is an example of the slippery slope that occurs when we open the doors to euthanasia. A two year old has now been euthanized in the Netherlands. 

Canada, we are headed in the same direction! Alex Schadenberg reported that “A federal government committee recommended on February 15, 2023 that euthanasia be extended to "mature minors."

We must put an end to euthanasia and all its expansions!

Choose Life Niagara invites adults out to our coffeehouse at the Grand Oak in Vineland on Thursday, November 5! An espresso bar (with Mathew Bradbury) and baked goods will be served at 7:00pm. The program will begin at 7:30pm.

Guest speakers Josh and Britt Houweling and Sabrina Degiuli will be sharing their stories. Both families were pressured to abort their children when they were diagnosed with disabilites in utero. Both chose life and will share their stories of hope!

Bill C-218, the Right to Recover Act is at a critical point.

The bill would make permanent the exclusion of mental disorder as the sole underlying medical condition for medical assistance in dying (MAiD).

It's second hour of debate is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026 with the vote scheduled for Wednesday October 7, 2026.

Make sure MPs across Canada hear from Canadians who support Bill C-218.
Here are some ways you can take action:
Participate in the phone call campaign being organized by Faytene Grasseschi.

Email or write to your Member of Parliament and ask them to vote YES on Bill C-218.
Contact the Minister of Justice, Minister of Health and Prime Minister’s Office and urge the government to support the bill.

“It seems to me that it is being implied that a person with a terminal illness will have a dreadful painful death unless they have access to assisted dying and it is simply not true.

Palliative care… is excellent. Far too many people do not have access to palliative care that they need. But the idea that it is not possible to alleviate pain and discomfort is false.

It's nothing short of irresponsible to scare monger people like me into believing that our deaths will be horrific when all the evidence suggests that with access to good palliative care deaths are, on the whole, gentle.

The answer is not to terrify people and their families. It's to sort out palliative care and social care first.

Until we can say that everyone who needs it has access to high quality palliative care then we are offering nobody a choice. A terrible death or an assisted death is not a choice, it's a threat.”
