Updating Your Beneficiaries

Reminder to add or update your beneficiaries to your Insurance and Pension accounts.

GM Life Insurance:

Update your Life Insurance beneficiaries at the GM Benefits Centre website,

Login to www.gmcanadabenefit.com and click on the Profile Icon in the top right corner. Follow the Beneficiary Tab at the bottom of the Beneficiary Summary page. you can add and change your beneficiaries.

There is an option to add/update a Primary and Contingent Beneficiary to your account.

CAAT Pension:

Update your CAAT Pension Beneficiary at https://www.caatpension.ca/home Click on your name, top right of the page.

Follow the Member information Tab.

Click on the Beneficiary Tab. Follow the prompts to add or change your Beneficiary. If you haven’t logged in to your CAAT account:

User ID’s were sent in the mail January 2025. If you haven’t logged in or have lost your user ID contact [email protected] or call 1-800-350-2228 to request your user ID.
