And just like that… another training year is in the books!

We wrapped things up the best way we know how, with a trip to the Toronto Zoo. A day full of laughs, great company, a whole lot of walking, and enough animal photos to keep everyone scrolling for a while.

As summer begins, our cadets are off in every direction. Many are heading to summer training, others are looking forward to a well earned break, and for a few, it’s time to set sail on their next adventure as they age out of the program and begin a new chapter.

To those heading to camp, have an amazing summer and make the most of every opportunity. To those moving on, thank you for the memories, the laughs, and everything you’ve brought to our corps over the years. Once 358 SEA, always 358 SEA. Fair winds and following seas.

To everyone else, enjoy your summer, stay safe, and come back in September ready for another year of adventure. We’ll be here waiting… probably with more paperwork than we’d like and just as much enthusiasm as ever.

Last Saturday, RCSCC 358 SIR ISAAC BROCK held its Annual Ceremonial Review, along with RCSCC 103 NIAGARA and NLCC 138 DRUMMOND, bringing together cadets, families, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate another successful training year.

ACR gives our cadets an opportunity to showcase what they have learned and accomplished throughout the year, and they did an outstanding job. From parade movements to displays of teamwork, leadership, and dedication, they represented themselves and the corps exceptionally well.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day a success. Whether you volunteered your time, supported a cadet, sponsored our program, or simply came out to cheer them on, your support means more than you know.

A special thank you as well to Yvonne Glowacki, President of Royal Canadian Polish Legion Branch 418, for serving as our Reviewing Officer. We truly appreciate your time, support, and the encouragement you showed our cadets on this important day.

Most importantly, congratulations to our cadets. The growth, confidence, and commitment you have shown throughout the year is what this program is all about, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Thank you for helping make ACR 2026 a memorable day.

Mark Your Calendars!

The countdown is on to our Joint Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the St. Catharines Museum.

This is one of the most important days of the training year and an opportunity for our cadets to showcase everything they have learned and accomplished over the past year. It is also a chance for families, friends, supporters, and our community partners to see firsthand the dedication, leadership, teamwork, and professionalism these young people bring to the program.

The cadets and staff of RCSCC 358 Sir Isaac Brock, RCSCC 103 Niagara, and NLCC 138 Drummond have been putting in countless hours behind the scenes preparing for this event. From drill practices and ceremonial training to planning and coordination, a tremendous amount of work goes into making ACR a success.

We could not be more proud of the effort our cadets have shown throughout the year, and we are excited to celebrate their achievements with all of you.

We are honoured to welcome Yvonne Glowacki, President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 418, as our Reviewing Officer for this year’s parade.

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we recognize another outstanding training year and celebrate the accomplishments of our cadets.

While many moms across the country were heading out for Mother’s Day breakfast in bed, 358 moms were up early making sure their cadets were on the bus and ready for a day aboard the Kajama. Honestly, sacrificing breakfast in bed for a cadet activity deserves a little recognition in our opinion

Sunday’s sail aboard Kajama was an incredible experience and a chance for cadets to get hands on with life aboard a traditional tall ship. From hauling lines to learning the ropes, it was one of those days that reminds you why experiences like this matter so much in the cadet program.

The cadets represented 358, and their moms, extremely well throughout the trip and should be proud of how they carried themselves aboard.

Huge thank you to the crew of the Kajama for having us out and making the day such a memorable one. And of course to all the moms and families who support these cadets week in and week out, we appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to make opportunities like this possible.

Battle of the Atlantic Commemoration

Sunday was a great showing with cadets from RCSCC 358, RCSCC 103, NLCC 138, and RCACS 87.

Cadets turned out strong, looked sharp, and carried themselves well. That doesn’t happen without some help getting them there.

Huge thank you to all the parents who got their cadets to Port Colborne and made the day possible. We know it’s not always a quick trip or an easy shuffle, and it makes a difference.

To the cadets, you showed up and did it right.

Appreciate the effort all around.

We’ve added some photos along with a couple of screenshots from the news coverage.

Better late than never.

Our Coxswain missed our first attempt to promote her , so we had to run it back… because apparently even promotions have to wait for the Coxswain.

Congratulations Chief Petty Officer Second Class Betancourt-Villa.

Late to the party, but still the one everyone was
waiting on.

Not an easy rank to earn, and this one didn’t happen by accident.

Promotion secured. Parade attendance… we’ll talk.lol
