🚶‍♀️The Coldest Night of the Year campaign is a fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

⭐ Each year, NEXTNiagara council members participate in to raise awareness and funds for YWCA Niagara Region - one of the largest providers of emergency shelter and transitional housing across , giving countless women, children and families a safe place to stay connected to their community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us last night at for a great conversation with Lucas about his journey into entrepreneurship, and the growth of Black Sheep Coffee Roasters. With locations in both Welland and Fenwick, a strong loyalty program, and excellent speciality coffee, it was great to hear the details of his story, and highlight a young professional in Niagara building community through entrepreneurship!

Some takeaways:
👋 become a regular - consistent business from regular customers can be much more impactful than one tomehigh spenders
🍀 take the luck when it comes, but be prepared for the times when it feels like the luck has run out
