What do I do when someone running in the municipal election knocks on my door?

Join Niagara Movement School for a conversation about the upcoming municipal election and co-create a question guide for candidates based on the issues that matter most to you and your communities.

We will meet on Wednesday, July 22, from 6-8pm at Richard Pierpoint Park (Oakdale near Eastchester – look for the picnic tables near the garden plots). We will bring some snacks and drinks, but bring what you need to feel comfortable outside.

Masks provided.

Please note there are no public washrooms at this location.

If you have any questions for us, please email NMS at [email protected]

Join us at the 2nd Annual Niagara Activist Gathering!

This event is intended for Niagara-based activists, artists, community groups, and unions to connect, learn about one another’s work, and find ways to collaborate and act in solidarity.

Please bring any outreach materials you want to share!

This event will occur indoors for two hours in a space accessible via stairs and elevator. Masks will be provided and air filters will be on site. For folks able to mask, this is one of the key actions of community care we can take to keep our immunocompromised folks and folks’ who can’t mask safe during and after the event.

If you have any questions or concerns that will influence your decision to attend, please connect with us at [email protected], direct message us on social media, or via call/text at 365-855-2768.
