Celebrate the moms and the sport we love this Sunday! 🚣‍♀️💐

Join the St. Catharines Rowing Club for the Mother’s Day Regatta. We’d love to see you at the grandstands!

🗓️ Event Details:
When: Sunday, May 10th

Heats: 8:30 am – 11:30 am

Finals: Start at 12:30 pm

Parking: $5 paid parking is in effect (all proceeds go directly back into SCRC programs!)

🥇 A Special Tradition:
We’re inviting all Moms in attendance to help present the gold medals to our race winners at the grandstands. It’s a fantastic vantage point to catch the finish line action!

Race season is officially here 🚣‍♀️🔥

High school crews at the St. Catharines Rowing Club are gearing up to hit the water, and it all starts with two exciting home regattas:

📅 Early Bird Regatta — April 26
📍 Location: Henley Island / St. Catharines Rowing Club
⏰ Registration closes: April 20

🌸 Mothers Day Regatta — May 10
📍 Location: Henley Island / St. Catharines Rowing Club
⏰ Registration closes: May 3

Join us next Saturday, March 28 at 11AM at the SCRC boathouse for a hands-on Boat Rigging Workshop with Pete Somerwil. Learn how to properly set your footstop angle and position, master the basics of rigging, and keep your equipment in top shape all season long.

Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to fine-tune your setup, this is a great opportunity to build confidence and speed on the water.

A huge thank you to our incredible SCRC Alumni for their continued support of our athletes and community 🙌

Through their partnership with OLG and Delta Bingo, the Alumni have hosted bingo fundraisers that directly give back to the club. This season, those efforts helped reduce 2026 high school athlete fees by $72.25 per rower, making rowing more accessible for so many families.

Their impact doesn’t stop there — Alumni contributions have also helped support new equipment for the club, continuing to invest in the future of SCRC athletes 🚣‍♀️

We are so grateful for everything the Alumni do to keep our rowing community strong ❤️
