CHCO-TV broadcasts a unique free over-the-air HDTV service on channel 26.1, and is distributed on Fibe channel 26 [HD] and on Bell-TV satellite channel 539 [SD] in New Brunswick and to many in Canada coast to coast. CHCO-TV is also available but limited by Rogers to Charlotte County subscribers on [HD] channels 126 or 133. We are one of only a handful licensed independent community channels in Canada which is not affiliated with a cable or satellite company.

New Brunswick’s most accessible community channel

Community TV is a professional outlet for citizens to be engaged in local media. CHCO-TV unique broadcast provides a free over-the-air TV service on UHF channel 26, Fibe channel 26, Cable 126 and on Bell-TV satellite channel 539 in New Brunswick and to many in Canada coast to coast. A CRTC-licensed not-for-profit broadcaster, CHCO provides citizens with facilities to collaborate efforts to create community media on TV and on-line. We are one of only a handful of licensed independent community channels in Canada which is not affiliated with a cable or satellite company. Therefore, CHCO-TV is freely available to be distributed by ALL service providers giving access to EVERYONE.
