Unfortunately, due to low registrations and forecasted weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Teddy Bear Parachute event.

While we’re disappointed that our teddy bears won’t be taking flight this year, we’re incredibly grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and encouragement we’ve received from our community.

The good news? We’re already looking ahead to 2027 and are excited about the opportunities to grow this event into something even bigger and better.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Transitions and our Early Intervention Program. We can’t wait to see what next year brings.

Ready…set…DROP! 🧸🪂

Our teddy bears are gearing up to take the leap — and they need YOU.

Join us for the Teddy Bear Parachute Fundraiser in support of the Transitions Early Intervention Program.

This fun-filled community event helps support young children with disabilities as they build skills, confidence, connection, and independence from the very start.

Design a parachute, bring your bravest teddy, and watch them soar — all while making a meaningful impact for local families.

Every bear dropped represents brighter futures and stronger supports within our community.

☀️ Youth Summer Day Camps 2026 are coming to Transitions! ☀️

We’re excited to offer a fun-filled and supportive summer experience for youth in St. Albert from July 7 – August 28, 2026! Camps run Tuesday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and include engaging community activities, transportation during outings, and supportive staff.

Camp Details:
• $100/week
• Activities, transportation, and associated activity costs included
• Meeting locations in central St. Albert (most days begin at Servus Place)
• Youth supported at a 1:3 ratio
• Families receive activity schedules one week in advance

Participants should bring:
• Bag lunch
• Snacks
• Water bottle

Please notify us as soon as possible if your child requires 1:1 support.

FSCD hours will be billed for support hours during camp. Please contact Jennifer directly to discuss support needs or further options available for your family.

📩 Spots are limited and payment is required to secure registration.

We’re supporting a gentleman as he transitions from seniors’ assisted living into one of our residential programs and he’s beginning again with very little.

He has his bedroom furniture, but we’re looking to help him build the rest of his home with essentials like:
• Living room furniture
• Small kitchen table
• Dishes & household items
• Furniture for a spare bedroom/staff space
• Other everyday home basics

If you have something you’d be willing to donate, or know someone who might, please reach out.

Donations can be dropped off at the Transitions office.
