We had a fantastic time collaborating with the Sackville Rod & Gun Club and their amazing volunteers at our recent Fishing and BBQ Event. Bringing people of all ages together to connect, share experiences, and enjoy one another's company is what community is all about. We're so grateful for this partnership and look forward to many more collaborations in the future!

It's happening THIS SATURDAY, June 6! We're delighted to partner with the Sackville Rod & Gun Club to host a special fishing and BBQ event for adults aged 60+ at beautiful Lillas Fawcett Park / Silver Lake! No fishing license is required for this event. Please bring a chair and, if you have it, your own gear.

🎣 Fishing begins at 9:30 a.m.
(with 20 rods, bait, and mentoring by Sackville Rod & Gun Club volunteers)
🌭 Free BBQ starts at 11:30 a.m.
📍 Lillas Fawcett Park / Silver Lake
👥 All are welcome, but kindly let us know if you're joining, so we can ensure there's enough food for everyone. 🙂

We’re excited to partner with the Sackville Rod & Gun Club to host a special fishing and BBQ event for adults aged 60+ at beautiful Lillas Fawcett Park / Silver Lake!

Celebrate Father’s Day month and FISH NB DAY with us on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. No fishing license is required for this event (Fish NB Days are June 6th and 7th)!

Cast a line, catch a fish or catch up with pals, enjoy a delicious free BBQ beginning at 11:30 a.m., and spend time outdoors with great company! Join us for a wonderful community gathering by the lake.
