Santé Québec Abitibi-Témiscamingue announced that the labour and delivery service of the Centre multiservices de santé et de services sociaux de La Sarre will be temporarily closed from October 15th at 8 A.M. until October 18th at 8 P.M., due to a lack of obstetricians.

If necessary, pregnant women should still report to the Centre multiservices de santé et de services sociaux de La Sarre, where they will be evaluated by a nurse.

If necessary, they’ll be sent to the Rouyn-Noranda or Amos hospital if they’re considered to be in active labour.
