2nd Rossland Beaver Scouts need volunteers to help run the program.

All Scout Canada group are volunteer run and 2nd Rossland Scout Group is no exception.

We need two additional volunteers to keep our Beaver section operating this year (Sept 2025 to June 2026).

Beaver Scouts are girls and boys between the ages of 5 to 7 years old. We provide a wide variety of adventures with an outdoor focus.

Our meetings run once a week with occasional special events.

We provide the training to be the best leader you can be.

It is a great way to give back to your community.

2nd Rossland Scout Group (Scouts Canada) is getting ready for another scouting year!

Registration is currently open to the public for our Beaver Scouts (5-7 yrs), Cub Scouts (8-10 yrs), Scouts (11-14 yrs), and Venturers (15-17yrs)

Volunteers are also needed to run our sections. Scouting is an excellent way to provide a lot of cool adventures for local kids.

Hi everyone,

A new scouting year is nearly upon us!

Registration for the 2026 scouting year for current members is open until September 3rd.

New members can register on September 4th.

If your child is planning to continue with us in the fall, please register them by September 3rd. Otherwise there may not be a spot for them come January.

If your child has moved from one section to another due to their age, please ensure to register them in the new section. The age groups are as follows: Beavers 5-7 yrs; Cubs 8-10yrs; and Scouts 11-14yrs.

A reminder that we place children like the schools do. An example would be a Beaver that turns 8 before Christmas would be in Cubs in the fall.

In addition, on Wednesday September 3rd at 5pm, we are going to have an information meeting with all the Section (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts) parents and youth. The meeting will be at the Rossland Scout Hall. If you are interested in your child joining Scouting, please come on down!

Last Months (June - July) of Activities for 2nd Rossland Scouts 2024 - 2025 year.
- Climbing and Rappelling at Smelter Bluffs. Putting knot skills to use and conquering some fears.
- Bike ride down from Nancy Green Pass to BlackJack. Fast flowing fun and great teamwork and leadership by Scouts as they kept together to make it down the trail at the same time.
- July Camp at Davis Creek. Pushing some limits on a hike up Whitewater Canyon and got to play in some snow in July. Tried out some mini white water on Davis Creek, first time for a few Scouts.
