〰️ Bear Witness Day 〰️

Bear Witness Day is held annually on May 10 to honour Jordan River Anderson and ensure the full implementation of Jordan’s Principle, which guarantees First Nations children equitable access to all government services. In 2026, the Senate of Canada officially recognized this day of action to combat ongoing service inequities.

Purpose of Today: Participants "bear witness" to ensure governments are not discriminating against First Nations children.

Good morning, just a quick reminder to our Waywayseecappo Regalia REGISTERED Clients. Today is the final day to be fitted for your children's regalia.

We do have a wait list of children, who are very interested in receiving this help, so if you do not come in, we will be calling our waitlist this afternoon.

Thank you. We apologize that we cannot assist everyone who is interested, but there is only so much work we can give our crafters before they are too overloaded. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
