Our five-decades-old Crest creatively symbolizes fields of the arts yielding an abundant harvest in our midst. Every humble and mundane pursuit of Truth in Beauty can grow into to a flourishing Fine Art. Continuous inspired works of creativity in our midst bring us joy and hope. Seeds planted and watered in fertile soil in due season bring forth a Thanksgiving Harvest.
Let us give thanks for Rosebud Camp of the Arts and its flourishing as a School of the Arts and Theatre, for Chemainus Festival Theatre and its programs in arts, education and culture, and the Badlands Amp's ever growing resume founded on Christ's epic story of faith, hope, and love. These attractions now draw thousands of visitors annually.
Our Society [http:///]website is a portal to current Society initiatives. 2025's Rosebud Chamber Music Festival enthralled attendees of all ages. Ammolite Opera captured the imaginations all ticket holders with its mandate to perform works of living composers and emerging artists. We know that much energy goes into the fulfillment of a vision. But dreams still become reality.
Currently Ammolite Opera's Music Director, Maria Fuller, is composing her dream The Return of the Messiah. G.F.Handel's Messiah premiered in 1741. Maria's Return of the Messiah will have its world premier this coming December at Grace Presbyterian Church 1009 – 15th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB. See the Ammolite Opera website for details and tickets.
These websites do not capture all. Visual artists enjoy events organized by Rosebud Arts Collective. Wheatland County, which administrates the Hamlet of Rosebud, promotes these on their events page.
Many visitors come to Rosebud just to get away from it all and experience this valley of Peace, Healing and Restoration.
As Founder, I am grateful for our dedicated Board of Directors who write policies, agreements, and guide ongoing and emerging artistic enterprises. Their Teams guide our endowments to financially secure our legacy. I am thankful for volunteer assistance with administrative functions of Rosebud Legacy Society
Thank you to our original partnering founders who are now great-grandparents and to those who have gone on to meet their heavenly reward.
