Hello All - the Board has decided that due to low ticket sales, the St Pattys dance has been cancelled.

We will be back for the annual Harvest Dance later in October.

Thanks for supporting the Rolla Hall!

November 11 th 2025 saw a return of the Rolla Community turkey dinner. Hosted this year by Landry and Rolla Women's Institutes. A big thank you to all who supported this event by attending. We acknowledge everyone who worked to make it such a success. Communities are rewarded as the returns from this local event will assist Rolla Hall. All enjoyed a wonderful dinner and socializing.

Creating a new Regional Zoning Bylaw together!

We're replacing five old zoning bylaws with one unified bylaw, and we need your help to get it right! 📣

A draft of the Regional Zoning Bylaw is ready, and it was created with feedback from over 600 residents during our last community engagement. This new bylaw will simplify and update how land can be used to better support local people, farmers and businesses.

Here's how to get involved:

⏺️ Attend an open house: Join us between November 15-23 to view the draft, zoning maps and get your feedback in.

⏺️ Complete our online survey: Can't make it? The survey is open until November 30 at 4:30 pm.

Find the full open house schedule and survey at haveyoursay.prrd.bc.ca/RZB.

Prefer a paper copy of the survey? Visit the PRRD offices in Dawson Creek (1981 Alaska Avenue) or Fort St. John (9505 100 Street).

Summer Update:
One project complete - a hundred to go!

Thanks to a successful grant application through Northern Development Community Places program our Association received $24,000 towards our roof project! Along with our contributing funds, that the Board members are working so hard to receive, we were able to finish the roof upgrade!
Thanks to the quick work of DM Henderson Roofing - the roof is now completed!

We would like to pause and do a special round of thank you’s for every Board and Community member that volunteers their time and energy to our Hall! If it weren’t for this group of dedicated locals our Hall wouldn’t be here!

As mentioned the projects are large and we have many more to go - but stopping to acknowledge and thank everyone along the way is so important!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Harvest Dance in October as we continue our fundraising efforts!
