What a great day for a parade! Thank you to everyone who helped with the Rocky Ag Society's entry! We salute the Royal Canadian Legion for 100 years of service to our country and community!

Thank you to the Rocky Museum for allowing us to put up our Historic School project display in the Glacier school house on Museum Day. The Glacier School, active from 1923 - 1959 has already received a sign as part of the project. The Glacier School became part of the Rocky Museum collection in 2003 and has provided a wonderful display for all to enjoy. More information on the Historic School project can be found on the RAS website page. The RAS also commends the Rocky Museum on their latest project of providing a bell tower for the Confluence School Bell.

Are you a farm student in the Rocky Mountain House/David Thompson High School area pursuing a post-secondary educational program of four months or longer? The Rocky Ag Society provides 5 - $1000 bursaries to qualified applicants. Application forms are available on the RAS website under the heading "Who we are". Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

Thank you to everyone who helped and supported the EAT (Educational Ag Tour) program that took place yesterday for grade 4 students in Clearwater County. Thanks to Clearwater County Ag Services, all the volunteers, all the sponsors and especially to the host farms - Terpsma Farm, Endeavor Equestrian, Adventure Holsteins and the Winchell Farm. This program is so important to the students, especially to those who may not otherwise have an opportunity to visit a farm and learn what is involved in providing and producing our food. This event is probably the most important event on the Rocky Ag Society calendar and is recognized as one of the only such event held in the province!

♻️ There’s still time for Alberta producers, 4-H clubs and ag organizations to take part in the 2026 Great Twine Round-Up before the May 31 deadline. ♻️

The initiative is helping keep used plastic baler twine out of landfills while supporting Alberta agriculture through $12,000 in cash prizes, including support for local 4-H clubs and ag charities.

Last year alone, more than 16,000 kg of used twine was collected through the program, with recycled material finding new life in products like composite decking, greenhouse trays and dimensional lumber.

A great example of producers turning practical stewardship into real community impact. 🌱🐂
