Our thoughts are with our fellow cadets, their family and their staff following this tragic news.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that officials and emergency services have confirmed the passing of a cadet following the tragic bus accident that occurred yesterday in Sainte‑Rose‑de‑Watford, Quebec, transporting members of the Cadet Program to an activity.

Our hearts are with the cadet’s family, friends, and with all members of the cadet community who are mourning this deeply felt loss. We extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.

Out of respect for the grieving family and all those affected, no further details will be shared at this time.

For those who feel moved to do so, we invite you to take a quiet moment of personal reflection in honour of those impacted. Thank you for your compassion, care, and understanding.

🎉 Fun Fact 🎉

December 21st, marks the birthday of the Royal Canadian Dragoons!

We want to extend our heartfelt wishes to the Regiment on this special day.

Since its inception, the brave men and women of the Royal Canadian Dragoons have fought and served valiantly, proudly representing Canada with honour and distinction.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Regiment and the Guild for their ongoing support and unwavering dedication to preserving this proud legacy through their affiliated Cadet Corps.

Over the years, the Royal Canadian Dragoons have earned an impressive list of battle honours, including:

- North West Canada, 1885
- South Africa, 1900
- World War I: Festubert, Somme (1916, ’18), Cambrai (1917, ’18), and more.
- World War II: Liri Valley, Gothic Line, North West Europe (1945), and many others.
- Afghanistan

Today, we celebrate their rich history, dedication, and sacrifices in service to our nation.

🎉 Incredible Effort by 137 Royal Canadian Dragoon Cadets! 🎉

A huge shoutout to the 137 Royal Canadian Dragoon Cadets for their amazing food drive! 💪

Their hard work and dedication resulted in 329 food items collected to support those in need. 🙌

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Centre Aide Rockland Help Centre (CARHC) was Daniel Sabourin, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this act of kindness.

Thank you, Cadets, for your incredible community spirit and for making a difference!

We would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Major (Ret) Mike Calnan and the Swords and Ploughshares for their incredible support in making this evening possible. Your dedication to our cadets and community is truly appreciated!

🌟 Day of Navigation & Patrolling with
137 Royal Canadian Dragoon Cadets 🌟

The 137 Royal Canadian Dragoon Cadets braved the depths of the Larose Forest for an exciting day of navigation and patrolling!

From honing their skills with compasses and maps to learning valuable new techniques in the field, it was a day filled with teamwork, adventure, and fun.

The cadets showed incredible determination and enthusiasm, making the most of this hands-on learning experience in the great outdoors. 💪
