SEIZE THE MOMENT — Your Open Door Won't Wait Forever.

FOUR months.
That's how long Nehemiah carried his burden before the door opened. He heard the news in the month of Kislev (Nov/Dec)... and stood before the king in Nisan (Mar/Apr).

And here's what he did while he waited: he prayed, planned, and positioned himself — all while serving the king with a smile on his face.

Then it happened. One ordinary day, the most powerful man in the world looked at his cupbearer and asked: "What is it you want?" — Nehemiah 2:4

This was it. The moment. The open door. The answer to four months of praying. And Nehemiah didn't say, "Let me think about it." He prayed — and then he spoke. And the result? "Because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests" (Nehemiah 2:8).

The empire that tore the walls down... now paid to rebuild them.
That's not luck. That's not coincidence. That's FAVOUR!!!

The Bottom Line:
Pray like crazy. But when God makes a way, you have to enter in. As someone said: Favour is a door, not a destination. Don't let the answer sit still.

The opportunity comes disguised as an ordinary day. Don't freeze at the open door. Seize your moment!

The Prayer of Adoration — Start Praying With Praise!
Before you bring your requests, bring your worship.
When you begin your prayer with adoration, thanksgiving and praise, something powerful shifts in the atmosphere — and in you.

When you start praying with adoration and praise, you are not informing God of your crisis — you are informing your crisis about your God!

God already knows what you're facing. Nothing catches Him by surprise.
Your problem doesn't know how big your God is — until you declare it!
Praise repositions your heart from panic to peace, from fear to faith.

When David faced Goliath, he didn't describe the giant — he described his God! "You come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty!" (1 Samuel 17:45)

So today, before you list your burdens, lift up His name. Tell your mountains about your Maker. Announce to your storm who commands the wind and waves.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name..." — Jesus taught us to start with adoration, not anxiety.

Congratulations to everyone who was baptised today and made the decision to say "yes" to Jesus. Praying that God, who began a good work in you, will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). You are loved, you are prayed for, and you are never walking this journey alone.

One Question Changed History
The entire book of Nehemiah was unlocked by one question.
Before the vision. Before the burden. Before the walls were ever rebuilt — there was a check-in:

"I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem." — Nehemiah 1:2

One caring question changed history.
So let me ask you: Is there someone you haven't heard from in a while?

Maybe God isn't just reminding you of them — maybe God is sending you to them. A simple check-in could be the beginning of someone's rebuilding. You never know… your one question might be the start of God rebuilding their broken walls.

Don't underestimate the power of asking: "How are you, really?"
