2025 is officially a wrap! Yesterday we awarded, we celebrated, we appreciated, we ate, and we skated. What a great year!

Once again, the leaders of the Borderline 4-H Club couldn’t be more proud of our members’ accomplishments. 4-H is a lot of fun, but it also requires commitment, dedication, and a willingness to learn—even when it feels challenging. We commend everyone who pushed through the hard and uncomfortable moments. Your growth this year has been incredible!

Horse Division wrapped up the season by participating in an Adam Blackmon clinic in Kelowna. The focus was on cutting and reining maneuvers, offering plenty of opportunities for growth and learning.

Another Borderline 4-H Judging Day successfully in the record books!

Our members judged a variety of objects and animals related to the projects they chose, plus a common class - cell phone plans this year! The challenge for the kids was to compare four items of the same type, each with different qualities and benefits, and place them from 1st to 4th, providing at least three reasons for each placing.

In horse judging, for example, members evaluate how well horses meet the ideal standards of a breed or discipline in conformation, movement, and temperament.

We are so proud of the excellent work our members did this year—they achieved fantastic results! A huge thank you to all our leaders and volunteer judges for teaching and guiding these kids along the way.

Great Presentations at Our Last Meeting!

We enjoyed two excellent presentations from our members at our last meeting!
One of our senior members shared a PowerPoint presentation about 4-H opportunities such as Food for Thought and Youth Action, giving everyone a glimpse into these exciting events.
We also heard a wonderful presentation from one of our first-year junior members on horses and their colours — a fun and informative topic that everyone enjoyed!

The Rock Creek & Boundary Fall Fair Work Bee is THIS WEEKEND Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 6th & 7th starting at 9:00 am. Come and help us get ready for the 80th Rock Creek & Boundary Fall Fair!! Bring your gloves & tools. Lunch is provided. This is a great opportunity to earn a free day pass for the Fair by volunteering just 4 hours AND the chance to win a great prize!
