Trails to the Boundary is pleased to confirm that the "wish tree" program will continue this year!

Come into the Riverside Centre to select an envelope showcasing a child and then have fun shopping to enrich that childs Christmas!

This project, in conjunction with West Boundary Elementary School, has been a heartwarming and enjoyable event. Volunteers at the centre will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

🚧✨ Check out the new pavement!

Riverside Centre – our community hub and visitor centre – now has a smooth new surface that makes the space more welcoming and accessible for everyone.

“I was pleased to allocate the funds to pave Riverside Centre,” says Sharen Gibbs Regional Director. “This is a true community space, and I’m proud to see it benefit from this provincial investment.”

This upgrade was made possible thanks to teamwork:

⚡ James Chandler, RDKB Operations Manager, secured partial funding from Fortis because of the EV charging stations.

🛠️ YRB generously donated materials and labour to get the job done.

“Projects like this pave the way for stronger, more welcoming communities. A job well done by all!” adds Director Gibbs.

The $1 billion provincial Growing Communities Fund has been distributed to regional districts and municipalities across B.C. – and here in the Boundary, we’re already seeing the results.
