Friends of Rivers Lake received a grant of $1200.00 from the Bill and Helen Sibbald Legacy Fund to help purchase a kayak launcher for Daly Beach. The launcher will provide accessibility for disabled kayakers from the new dock. Lawrence McFarlane presented the cheque to FRL Secretary/Treasurer Samantha Lepp, who was accompanied by Vice President Dave Falkevitch, and FRL members Ian Puppe, Kelly Kryshewski and Ed Mackay. We thank the Foundation for their generous support of our organization.

Just a heads up that the docks at Daly Beach will be removed from the lake for the winter Tuesday October 14 at 1:00 pm....

Just a heads up that the docks at Daly Beach will be removed from the lake for the winter Tuesday October 14 at 1:00 pm. The boat launch will still he available for use without the dock. See you next spring!!!
