DLCD Playground Project

DLCD Playground Project The DLCD Playground Project is fundraising to help provide updated playgrounds in the DLCD public reserve area for all people who visit Palliser Regional Park.

Phase 1 is targeted for completion later this year. With over 20 000 visitors to the Park every summer, the Playground Renewal Project is a lasting, impactful way to show support for the youth, families and visitors to the Park and surrounding communities. The updated playground will foster positive interactions, inclusivity, and opportunities to learn, share, play and grow for all ages. Phase 1 i

s designed with children ages 2-5 in mind along with a number of accessibility features such as a poured rubber surface for wheelchairs or strollers. The goal is to complete Phase 1 this summer. Phase 2 targets children ages 5-12 and will be built as soon as funds permit. Each phase costs roughly $75000!!
