The 54th Annual IOOF Canadian War Memorial Weekend took
place in Ottawa from June 5-7. Helping Hand #34 of the Atlantic Canada Jurisdiction was proudly represented by Brian Emoff and
Daniel Ferguson.This year's gathering was a great success, drawing members from as far away as Hawaii
The historic weekend saw a strong attendance, spotlighted by
the presence of the top officers from all branches of the order.
The highlight of the event was the solemn Wreath-Laying Ceremony to honour those soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Jacob Leegwater presented the owner of Over Street Cafe, Elizabeth Baillie, with a thank-you card for all she has done
for the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs over the past few years. Members of the Helping Hand and Frazee Rebekah Lodge gathered
for our final breakfast at the Cafe that closes this week for good.

Planting the seed of remembrance.
Members of IOOF Helping Hand Lodge #34 were hard at work on
Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion, River John, planting trees
to lay the groundwork for the upcoming No. 2 Black Battalion monument. We are honored to help create a beautiful space for
this tribute to the bravery and resilience of Canada's only
all- Black Battalion.

IOOF Helping Hand Lodge #34, a District Deputy Regalia.
This Regalia will be engraved on the back with "In memory of Jim Baillie," a beloved member of our lodge for 75 years.in FLT.

Great evening at Helping Hand Lodge. Two members received their service jewel. District Deputy Grand Master Peter Richardson presented Jamie Craig with his 35-year jewel, and Grand Chaplain Jacob Leegwater presented Bob Dwyer with his 25-year jewel.
