The Cadet Program is back in action after COVID, but not everything came back with it. Years of disrupted training and traditions have left gaps in skills, knowledge, and expectations.

So how do today’s cadets step up and rebuild what was lost?

In this episode, FSgt Koo and Capt. Leung dive into what it really means to be a good cadet in today’s program. From leadership and competency to performance and standards, they break down the challenges cadets face and explore how we can create a stronger system to train, mentor, and grow the next generation of leaders.

Serve, receive, set, hit - the 655 volleyball team sure knows what they're doing!

At 111 Pegasus RCACS' annual Volleyball Tournament ADA, junior and senior cadets came together to represent their squadron proudly on the court. The team worked hard to win many intense games, keeping morale high through loud cheers and demonstrating outstanding teamwork in every play. This team has truly shown us what it means to fly together, as one, above all!

What happens when teamwork meets fun?

Our Level 2's spent the weekend bonding through engaging leadership lessons, teamwork challenges, goal mapping, and drills. From icebreakers to group games, cadets built trust, strengthened communication, and supported one another every step of the way.

These cadets are growing into confident future leaders while making great memories along the way!

It's time to shine the spotlight on one of our core adult staff who has worked tirelessly to support our cadets through his role as Standards Officer: Captain Andrew Persaud, CD!

On November 3rd, Captain Persaud was awarded the Canadian Forces' Decoration for his 12 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces. This medal was presented by Major Greg Dowler, CD, the Lower Mainland Area Elemental Advisor (AEA), in recognition of Captain Persaud's diligent contributions to the Canadian Armed Forces and Cadet Program.

Of these 12 years, 11 were spent as an adult staff at 655 RCACS. Prior to that, Captain Persaud was a cadet of the very same squadron - ending his cadet journey with the rank of Warrant Officer Second Class before joining the Canadian Armed Forces.

Congratulations, Captain Persaud!
