We offer 4 scouting sections, Beavers ages 5-7, Cubs ages 8-10, Scouts ages 11-14, Venturers ages 15-17.

Vous avez des canettes et des bouteilles qui traînent, vous ne savez pas quoi faire avec? Les 1st Richmond Scouts vont se faire un plaisir de vous en départir. Il est possible de les laisser à la Quincaillerie Richmond ou de nous envoyer un message pour organiser le ramassage de celles-ci. De la part de tous les jeunes scouts de Richmond, un énorme merci!

Do you have cans and bottles lying around, don't know what to do with them? The 1st Richmond Scouts will be happy to part with it from you. It is possible to leave them at Quincaillerie Richmond or send us a message to organize their pickup. From all the youths from the Richmond scouts a huge thank you!

Nous nous souviendrons.
Dimanche 9 novembre les 1st Richmond Scouts ont participé au défilé et à la cérémonie du Jour du Souvenir qui avait lieu au cénotaphe dans le parc du souvenir. À la demande de la Légion de Richmond 2 de nos scouts ont eux l'honneur d'abaisser et de hisser les drapeaux pendant la cérémonie. Pour remercier la Légion, certains sont même restés après les évènements pour aider au nettoyage.

We will remember.
On Sunday, November 9th, the 1st Richmond Scouts participated in the Remembrance Day parade and ceremony held at the cenotaph in the Parc du Souvenir. At the request of the Richmond Legion, two of our scouts had the honor of raising and lowering the flags during the ceremony. To thank the Legion, some even stayed afterward to help with the cleanup.

Le samedi 1er novembre, les 1st Richmond Scouts ont tenu leur cérémonie d'investiture où les nouveaux scouts ont fait leur promesse et les autres jeunes l'ont renouvelée . Remises de badges bien mérités et des foulards avec nos nouvelles couleurs étaient au rendez-vous.

Merci au Magasin Comeau pour leur contribution en tissu et à la maman de Rusty pour la confection des nouveaux foulards.

Merci également à la Légion de Richmond pour l'utilisation de la salle.

On Saturday, November 1st, the 1st Richmond Scouts held their investment ceremony where the new scouts made their promise and the other youths renewed theirs. Well-deserved badges and neckerchiefs in our new colors were given.

Thank you to Magasin Comeau for their contribution of fabric and to Rusty's mom for making the new neckerchiefs.

Thank you also to the Richmond Legion for the use of the hall.

Les louveteaux et les castors ont profité du beau temps de samedi et dimanche 18 et 19 octobre pour faire des randonnée.

Samedi les louveteaux ont monté le mont Gleason, mangé leur dîner au sommet tout en admirant la vue pour ensuite redescendre la montagne.

Dimanche les castors sont allés au Parc Gouin, ils ont appris à comment suivre les directions sur les sentiers, fait une chasse aux fantômes et sans oublier l'escalade des fameuses roches.

Merci aux parents accompagnateurs lors des ces 2 activités.

The cubs and beavers took advantage of the good weather on Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19, to go hiking.

On Saturday the Cubs climbed Mount Gleason, ate their lunch at the summit while admiring the view and then headed back down the mountain.

Sunday the beavers went to Gouin Park, they learned how to follow directions on the trails, went on a ghost hunt and not forgetting climbing the famous rocks.

Thank you to the accompanying parents during these 2 activities.

Les Scouts du 1st Richmond ont débuté l’année en beauté avec une randonnée sur des sentiers magnifiques — et une nuit bien fraîche. Malgré le froid, l’ambiance était chaleureuse et l’aventure inoubliable. Feu de camp, camaraderie et ciel étoilé ont marqué un début de saison parfait. En route pour d’autres grandes aventures !

The 1st Richmond Scouts kicked off the year with a hike through beautiful trails—and a chilly night. Despite the cold night, spirits were high and the adventure was unforgettable. Campfire, camaraderie, and frosty stars overhead made for a perfect start to the scouting season. Here's to more epic journeys ahead!

Nous aimerions prendre le temps de remercier tout les gens qui sont venu nous encourager cette année.

Ainsi que tout les bénévoles qui sont venu travailler au kiosque, sans vous se serais jamais un aussi grand succes!!

We would like to take the time to thank everyone who came to support us this year.

As well as all the volunteers who came to work at the kiosk, without you it would never have been such a great success!!

Nous avons effectuer notre tirage du BBQ portatif. Un gros merci a Quincaillerie Richmond pour sa commandite ainsi que les membres de l’expo Richmond d’avoir tirer notre billet. Le Gagnant est Chase de Richmond!! Félicitations!!

We held our draw for the portable BBQ. A big thank you to Quincaillerie Richmond for their sponsorship and to the Fair Board to participate to have drawn the ticket. The winner is Chase from Richmond!! Congratulations!!

Venez nous voir à l'Expo richmond fair quebec cette fin de semaine ! Nous aurons à vendre notre célèbre pop-corn, des breuvages et en grande primeur des casquettes et tuques des 1st Richmond Scouts. Nous feront aussi tirer un poêle de camping, gracieuseté de Quincaillerie Richmond, les billets au coût de 5 $ chacun seront disponible à notre kiosque.
