Celebrating 100 Years of the Royal Canadian Legion

It was an honour to bring our Canada X students to centenary celebration on September 26 and share their artwork with the community.

We are grateful to the organizers for inviting us to exhibit. It was wonderful to see our students’ creativity shared with people from across the community.

Thank you to MP Parm Bains, Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie, BC/Yukon Command President Bob Underhill, Former Member of Parliament Wilson Miao, Richmond Legion First Vice President Linda, past-president of Legion Branch 291 Bill Costain, and event co-organizer Debbie for their support and encouragement.

We have always hoped that our students’ artwork would go beyond the classroom and become part of the community. Today, they had the chance to see that happen at a celebration marking a remarkable 100 year milestone.

We are grateful that Canada X could be part of this day.
