The Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra is an orchestral training program that serves the needs of young musicians throughout Delta, Richmond, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland of BC.

Today marked our final rehearsal of the 2025/26 season. Throughout this season, our musicians from Junior Strings to Symphony have worked incredibly hard with dedication and passion, and they are now ready to share their final performance of the year.

We look forward to seeing you at our Year-End Awards Concert on May 30 at Gateway Theatre! 🎶✨

One Saturday, Two Ways to Experience RDYO Chamber! 🎻✨

We are excited to share that our RDYO Chamber ensembles will be appearing at two different events next Saturday, May 2nd. Join us for a day of music across Richmond!

🌊 Part 1: Ships to Shore | Outdoor Festival
Catch the RDYO Chamber groups live at Garry Point Park! We are thrilled to be part of the Ships to Shore waterfront festival celebrating the arrival of the Kaiwo Maru. Come for the music, and stay for the tall ships, food, and festival fun!

Admission: FREE

🎹 Part 2: A Wonderful Night | Charity Concert
Later that evening, join the RDYO Chamber Ensembles for a formal indoor concert. This special program is dedicated to giving back, with all admission proceeds going directly to BC Children’s Hospital.

✨ Concert Throwback: April 19th
What an unforgettable afternoon at the Genesis Theatre! We are still buzzing from the incredible energy at last Sunday’s concert. 🎶

It was a true privilege to witness our Symphony, Junior Winds, and Senior Winds take the stage. A special congratulations to our gifted Soloists, whose brilliant performances left the audience in awe.

From the technical precision to the pure passion displayed on stage, this concert was a celebration of everything RDYO stands for. Thank you to our conductors, guest musicians, volunteers, families, and friends for making this such a successful event! A very special thank you to the Genesis Theatre for hosting us and helping make the magic happen.👏🎻🎺

🇨🇦 🇰🇷 It's Official! We are touring to South Korea this summer!
We are honoured to receive the invitation from the Mayor of Tongyeong City, and Tongyeong International Music Foundation to tour to South Korea this July, with exchange and performances at the UNESCO designated City of Music's iconic concert hall. We are excited to meet our partner Orchestra of Dream.

A group of fine Senior Musicians of the RDYO will be playing under the direction of conductor Jonathan Der. We can not wait to hear all about their adventure, between intense music rehearsal and performance, cultural exchange, as well as visiting some of the most recognized landmark in Seoul and Tongyeong.

What a way to celebrate our 55th Anniversary!
