Happy Juneteenth

Today, we recognize Juneteenth and honour the strength, resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black communities.

At 360°kids, our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) means creating spaces where every young person feels seen, valued, respected, and supported. We acknowledge the systemic barriers that continue to impact Black youth and communities and remain committed to listening, learning, and taking action to build a more equitable future.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering belonging, amplifying diverse voices, and creating opportunities for all youth to thrive.

Helping Shape Better Outcomes for Youth

We're encouraged to see key recommendations reflected in the House of Commons report on Youth Employment in Canada that align with priorities long championed by 360°kids.

Through our submission, we highlighted the importance of:

✓ Employment pathways and work-integrated learning

✓ Removing barriers to workforce participation

✓ Investing in programs with measurable outcomes

For young people facing homelessness and other barriers, success requires more than training alone. Stable housing, supportive relationships, and wraparound supports all play a critical role in helping youth build brighter futures.

Creating spaces where young people feel safe, seen, and valued is an important part of building belonging.

This Pride Month, youth, staff, and community members gathered at Home Base to celebrate connection, creativity, and self-expression. The event featured a shared meal, art activities, and an inspiring performance and discussion from Manny Dingo, who spoke about authenticity, identity, and the importance of inclusive spaces.

For many 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, affirming environments can make a meaningful difference. At 360°kids, we are committed to ensuring every young person feels respected, supported, and empowered to be themselves.

We’re always proud to be part of the incredible community that has built.

Over the years, Gianluca’s Gift has been a valued partner of 360°kids, bringing people together to support youth and create meaningful change. The annual softball tournament is more than just a day on the field—it’s a celebration of community, generosity, and the lasting impact that comes from helping others.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this year's tournament another memorable success. We’re grateful for our longstanding partnership with Gianluca’s Gift and look forward to continuing this important work together for years to come. 💙

This June, 360°kids recognizes National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

It is also an opportunity to reflect on the lasting impacts of colonialism and the importance of listening, learning, and taking meaningful action toward reconciliation.

At 360°kids, we are committed to creating inclusive, culturally safe spaces where all youth feel seen, respected, and supported. Throughout this month, we encourage our community to learn more about Indigenous histories, celebrate Indigenous voices, and deepen our understanding of the path toward reconciliation.

June is PTSD Awareness Month 💚

Trauma isn’t always visible.

For many young people, experiences such as homelessness, family conflict, abuse, exploitation, loss, or instability can leave lasting emotional impacts that affect how they feel, react, connect, and navigate the world around them.

Healing is not linear.
Some days feel like progress.
Other days feel overwhelming.
And that’s okay.

At 360°kids, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, supported, heard, and understood. Through trauma-informed care, housing support, counselling, employment programs, and compassionate relationships, we walk alongside youth on their journey toward healing and stability.

This PTSD Awareness Month, let’s continue creating spaces rooted in empathy, connection, and hope.

💚 Understand.
💚 Support.
💚 Heal.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at for spending the day with us and making a real difference in the lives of the youth we serve.

From generously donating to our food pantry to preparing and serving lunch, stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and helping create welcoming spaces, their team showed up with compassion, energy, and a genuine desire to help.

For many youth experiencing homelessness and housing instability, access to food and everyday essentials can make all the difference. Thanks to partners like Opus Homes, our youth know they are supported, valued, and cared for.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and commitment to our community.

Thank you, Nicole DeGasperis and the entire Opus Homes team, for helping young people move toward brighter futures. 💙
