Tuesday 9am - 12:30pm 1pm - 7pm Thursday 9am - 3:30pm 5pm - 7pm Saturday 11am - 1pm

360ºkids

Our primary focus is empowering at-risk youth and supporting youth experiencing homelessness.

Our 360° care approach includes many programs and services including:

Youth
- Emergency Housing: Youth Hub in Richmond Hill houses 14 youth who are in crisis.
- Home Base: Richmond Hill and Vaughan Youth Drop-In Centres: these centres serve more than 1,200 at-risk and homeless youth aged 13-24 each year in York Region.
- Residential Homes: 2 co-ed homes in Markham area
- Transitional Apartments

- 2 apartments in Markham area and 3 apartments in Richmond Hill for youth aged 17-24
- Employment Programs
- Aftercare/ Transitional Support Programs - for youth transitioning out of the Children's Aid's Society.
- Street Outreach & Gang Prevention

Children
- Afterschool and YOUTHrive Programs - free for children in grades 1-8 with an objective of getting our kids active and healthy in both body and mind. Additional Support Services:
- Individual and Family Counselling
- Housing Assistance

360°kids was pleased to meet virtually with members of the Government Youth Caucus to discuss how Canada can better support young people and contribute our recommendations for Budget 2027.

During the conversation, we shared what we see through our work with youth and highlighted three important priorities: preventing youth homelessness before crisis occurs, creating more equitable pathways to employment, and strengthening supports across housing, health, education, employment and social services.

Thank you to MPs Amandeep Sodhi, Fares Al Soud, Tatiana Auguste and Jake Sawatzky for taking the time to listen, ask questions and engage directly with youth-serving organizations.

When we invest in young people early, we can help them build greater stability, independence and opportunity.

A house becomes a home when people show up to help build it. 🏡🧡

As we prepare to open a new 360°kids home for young people transitioning out of care, we’re incredibly grateful to the team from The Home Depot Cityview Boulevard, Vaughan for showing up and lending a hand.

The store team has been helping us prepare the home by unpacking and setting up bedrooms, living spaces and bathrooms — from bedding and lamps to carpets and other essentials that will help make the space feel warm, welcoming and ready.

Thank you to The Home Depot for being an amazing strategic partner and for continuing to show up for the young people we serve. Your commitment, generosity and hands-on support are helping create safe, welcoming spaces where youth can feel at home and build toward a brighter future. 💚

🧵 Stitching skills, confidence and community together! ✨

Participants at The Hub recently rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on Sewing & Alterations Workshop, learning practical skills such as basic stitching, hemming, fitting and clothing repairs. From transforming thrifted finds to sharing plenty of smiles, the session created a welcoming space to learn, connect and express creativity.

More than a sewing class, experiences like this help young people build confidence, independence and skills they can carry into everyday life.

In recognition of Emancipation Day, 360°kids came together at our Youth Hub for an evening of culture, connection and community. ❤️💛💚

Youth enjoyed drumming, braiding and barbering, games, arts and crafts, and a shared dinner while celebrating Black culture, resilience and community.

Emancipation Day is also a time to reflect on our history and continue building spaces where every young person feels respected, valued and a true sense of belonging.

Today, on the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, we honour the cultures, histories, resilience and contributions of Indigenous Peoples and communities. 🧡

We also recognize the disproportionate impact of homelessness on Indigenous people in Canada. According to Everyone Counts 2024, among Indigenous respondents experiencing homelessness:

• 50% reported having experience as youth in care
• 55% first experienced homelessness before the age of 25

Behind every statistic is a person, a story and a reminder of the importance of culturally responsive, youth-centred supports.

At 360°kids, we remain committed to ongoing learning, Truth and Reconciliation, and supporting Indigenous youth with dignity, respect and care.

Today and every day, we listen, learn and work toward a future where every young person has the opportunity to feel safe, supported and at home.

Young entrepreneurs, big ideas, and an even bigger impact!

We were thrilled to join the Young Founders Co. Kids Market, where campers showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit while giving back to their community. Proceeds from the event will be generously donated to 360°kids to help support youth experiencing homelessness across York Region.

A heartfelt thank-you to the campers, families, organizers, and everyone who stopped by to shop and show their support. We are also incredibly grateful to Care Optical for generously donating a pair of glasses, valued at up to $400, to a youth supported by 360°kids.

Today, on **World Day Against Trafficking in Persons**, we stand with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to protecting young people from exploitation.

Youth experiencing homelessness can be especially vulnerable to trafficking. By recognizing the signs, listening without judgment and connecting young people to safe, trauma-informed support, we can help create a path toward safety, healing and independence.

Through the 360°kids HOPE program, youth impacted by human trafficking can access support, stability and opportunities to move forward.

We are incredibly grateful to Councillor Karen Shapiro Cilevitz for her generous donation to 360°kids through the “Songs from The Hill” Music Festival.

For many years, Karen Shapiro Cilevitz has brought the Richmond Hill community together through music, celebration and a shared commitment to supporting those in need. Her continued generosity helps 360°kids provide critical housing, programs and resources to young people experiencing homelessness and crisis across York Region.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers, City staff, performers, local businesses, donors and community members who have supported “Songs from The Hill” over the years. Your kindness and dedication are creating meaningful change in the lives of young people.

A big thank you to The Miller Group and the Miller Cares team for spending the day with us at 360°kids!

Members of their HR, Legal, and Health, Safety & Environment teams helped organize our clothing closet and pantry, prepare snack and hygiene kits, support our kitchen, and create a welcoming space for the youth we serve.

We truly appreciate their time, energy, and commitment to giving back. Support like this helps us continue providing essential services to young people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or crisis across York Region.
