🎉 Huge congratulations to the two dragon boat teams from Mon Sheong Youth Group for their incredible achievements at the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival last weekend 🍾! Our paddlers gave it their absolute all, showing incredible grit and team spirit. The Red Pandas came in second in the 500m Mixed Division G Championship Final 🥈, and the Bulldogs also powered through to secure 2nd place in the 500m Mixed Division J Final🥈! They truly showcased the determination, resilience, and perseverance of our youth🔥!

🎉熱烈恭賀孟嘗青年團的兩隊龍舟隊，於上週六及日舉行的多倫多國際龍舟賽中雙雙勇奪殊榮🍾！孟嘗龍舟健兒位位拼勁十足，當中Red Panda Team奪得500米G組混合賽亞軍🥈，而Bulldog Team則獲得500米J組混合賽亞軍🥈，展示年青人的堅毅精神以及無懼風雨的鬥志🔥！

And that’s a wrap! Mon Sheong Walk & Fun has officially crossed the finishing line. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for walking for our seniors, filling today with incredible smiles and energy. A huge shoutout goes to all sponsors and volunteers who made this community event possible. We look forward to seeing you again!

The journey doesn't end here! Our donation portal remains live through June 12. We hope everyone will continue to support us in building new long-term care centres, extending essential care to those who need it most.

3, 2, 1... GO! Our Mon Sheong Walk & Fun teams have crossed the starting line. Hundreds of participants are walking together today in support of Mon Sheong Foundation’s development of new long-term care centres. Every step is helping to spread love further.

Meanwhile, the excitement is already building indoors—our fun fair is packed with smiles and joy! Stay tuned for live performances coming up this afternoon! Come on down, join the fun, and feel the amazing community spirit!

Beyond promoting Chinese language learning 📚, Mon Sheong Foundation Chinese School is deeply committed to passing on traditional Chinese culture. In late May, the school’s three campuses hosted a Cultural Fun Day themed "Ancient Chinese Sports."

Students and parents tried their hands at traditional sports, including shuttlecock kicking (Jianzi), ancient soccer (Cuju), Chinese Bowling (Mushe) 🎳, and dragon boating 🐲. It was a fantastic, hands-on opportunity for everyone to deepen their understanding of these traditions! 👍

孟嘗會中文學校除了推動學習中文📚，更致力傳揚中華傳統文化。5月底中文學校三間分校以「中國古代運動會」為主題舉辦了文化同樂日，讓學生及家長齊參與踢毽、蹴鞠、木射🎳 及龍舟🐲等活動，加深他們對傳統習俗的認識👍。

"Mon Sheong Court Great Voice – Karaoke 2026 Final" was held last Friday. Our star judging panel featured renowned singer James Lee, singing coach Mark Yim, Richmond Hill Councillor Castro Liu, DJ Maggie Han and Mon Sheong Ambassador Laurence Liang. James Lee, Mark Yim and Mon Sheong Foundation First Vice-Chair Doris Chan even indulged the audience with a special performance, sending the atmosphere to new highs and drawing loud applause.

Since the beginning of the year, over 180 Mon Sheong Court residents have been bringing their A-game to Mon Sheong Court Great Voice – Karaoke 2026. After weeks of incredible performances and friendly competition, our champion was finally crowned! Huge congratulations to Jenny Wang from Richmond Hill Mon Sheong Court for taking home the top prize! The energy in the room was absolutely electric, filled with laughter, cheers, and pure joy. Events like this are what make retirement living at Mon Sheong Court so vibrant and fulfilling.

🎤首屆「孟嘗閣好聲音 – K歌之王2026」總決賽於上週五進行，評審團陣容強大，有著名歌唱家李治平老師、歌唱老師Mark Yim、烈治文山市議員廖立暉、電台節目主持韓笑及孟嘗大使梁健恆。李治平老師、Mark Yim聯同孟嘗會第一副主席陳劉燕玲更於活動獻唱，獲台下掌聲不斷。

活動自年初開展至今，超過180位住客熱烈參與，經過多番比拼，首位金嗓子由烈治文山孟嘗閣住客Jenny Wang奪得🥳，現場氣氛熱烈，為孟嘗閣的退休生活增添豐富姿彩🧑‍🦳👩‍🦳 🕶️！

🧒👧📚Want your child to master Chinese and embrace Chinese culture? The journey starts early!

Mon Sheong Foundation Chinese School is expanding! We are opening our 4th campus this September! 🏫Located at J. Addison School in Markham, the new Markham Buttonville Campus offers ultimate convenience for families and furthers our mission to promote Chinese language learning in the community.
