For more than 60 years, Mon Sheong Foundation has preserved an extensive collection of historical documents and publications of significant historical value. These materials chronicle not only the Foundation's growth and achievements, but also the evolution of the Chinese Canadian community.
Recently, Mon Sheong Foundation donated a collection of archival materials to the Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library at the University of Toronto, including more than six decades of Annual Reports, 10 editions of Resident Memoirs, the 50th Anniversary Books of Mon Sheong Foundation Chinese School and Youth Group, as well as invaluable historical records and photographs.
This collection will serve as an important resource for scholars, researchers, and the public, supporting the study and preservation of the history of the Chinese Canadian community for generations to come.
孟嘗會創會超過60載，累積了不少珍貴的歷史檔案及刊物，當中不但記載了孟嘗會的光輝里程，更與多倫多華人社區的發展史息息相關。因此，孟嘗會希望透過將逾60載的年報、10輯收錄長者人生故事的耆英錄、並中文學校及青年團的週年紀念特刊、許多彌足珍貴的歷史資料及圖片等贈送予多倫多大學利銘澤典宬(圖書館)，作為研究華人歷史的參考文獻，與眾同享。
