I had a great outreach this morning in Aurora, Ontario Farmers Market. I was invited to join CANA -Climate Action Newmarket Aurora, at their table. I met some new climate focused allies from the community, as well as a couple of very pleasant conversations with candidates running for council.

Huge gratitude to everyone who came out to our York-Durham Plant Based Treaty meetup last evening. We had several people attend for the first time and together we brainstormed ways we can include the Plant Based Treaty in our advocacy and communities.

We have a lot of work to do for our Mother Earth and her inhabitants but with passionate people stepping up to do something about it, the sky’s the limit.

What an amazing day at the Peterborough VegFest where we spoke with hundreds of attendees and pedestrians about the link between our current food system and climate change, and what we can do to help curb and reverse the damage done.

People are becoming aware of the need for more plant foods and less animal based foods.

Let’s keep pushing for change for our Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants.
