TOMORROW! We’re a day away from Chorus York’s spring concert on Saturday, May 10 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Richmond Hill — and we can’t wait to share this joyful evening of music with you! 🎶

Led by our inspiring Artistic Director, John Holland , and Assistant Conductor, Daniel Savin, this concert features a vibrant and heartfelt program sure to uplift and delight.

The centrepiece of the program, Mozart’s radiant Spatzenmesse (Sparrow Mass), will feature the outstanding talents of:

✨ Nicholas Gough, tenor
✨ Moji Abella , bass

You’ll also hear beautiful solo moments in Over the Rainbow from choir members:

Join Chorus York on Saturday, May 10, 2025, for an enchanting evening of choral music at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Richmond Hill. Under the direction of John Holland, with pianist Yan Kiu (Hannah) Mok, this concert blends timeless classics with beloved favourites.

Experience the uplifting joy of Mozart’s Sparrow Mass, the evocative harmonies of Sarah Quartel, and beloved folk melodies like Shenandoah and Goin’ Home. From Offenbach’s dreamy Barcarolle to Broadway gems like Over the Rainbow and Another Op’nin’, Another Show, this program promises something for everyone. A delightful selection of madrigals rounds out the evening, celebrating the beauty of spring through music.

Vivaldi Gloria and Season Favourites!!

Chorus York will be presenting its next concert, Vivaldi Gloria and Seasonal Favourites, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 7:30 p.m., at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church, 10066 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill.

This concert will highlight a Premiere performance of a commissioned new Carol by composer Yan Kiu (Hannah) Mok. For this concert, Chorus York will be accompanied by a String Quartet, Oboe, Piano and Trumpet. Vivaldi Gloria will be presented in its entirety.
