“We learned how to get our slabs ready for sgraffito, how to transfer and image, how to use a variety of loop, ribbon and carving tools, and then how to approach the design of our choice.

We practiced carving designs and moving an image from the positive to the negative and seeing how that changes the feel of the piece.”
