The Reality of "The Hub" - Exposed

The Reality of "The Hub" - Exposed Keeping the community updated & informed about the REALITY of Crime, Violence & Trouble at "The Hub". Woo-hoo, what a fabulous idea! Nothing wrong with that.

Construction of this Danger in our Community completed in February, 2016, and it seemed like a worthwhile enterprise at the time-- at least on paper: Bringing over 200 affordable-housing units into our community for struggling young families and seniors. Most people were either indifferent or happy, because, after all, good and honest people NEED homes. And for the most part, the tenants in the r

esidential portion of "The Hub" have been an asset to our community, and have never bothered a soul. But-- the builders of this monolithic disaster-in-waiting never informed us in detail what ELSE would be coming to our peace-loving community: Thugs & Trouble, who they refer to as "at-risk youths". They packaged it in a fanciful box with pretty ribbons, and slapped a colorful "360kids" sticker on it, and proclaimed that "The Hub" will also house a Youth Drop-In Center (called "Home-Base"), and an emergency Youth Shelter (Connections), for the allegedly poor, troubled youth of the region, who they claim are not 'bad' youngsters, they are just in need of gentle assistance... which 360kids provides with a white-gloved hand. This is the story they sell, but it is NOT THE TRUTH. The Truth is, MOST of the "Youths" at The Hub are hostile, violent, criminal thugs and drug-addicts & alcoholics. The only thing they are "at-risk" of is becoming an even BIGGER menace under the ZERO supervision, control, or guidance outside the walls of The Hub's buildings. They are dangerous. What's "at-risk" in our community is NOT the "youths", it is the impressionable young kids of the families of our community who are AT-RISK of becoming JUST LIKE THEM as they grow-up. Because these groups of thugs roam the streets at all hours, drunk, high, swearing, causing havoc, and THAT's what the kids are seeing-- and learning: How to swear, do drugs, and become a community nuisance by age 20. In the past year+ since this monstrosity opened it's doors, crime, violence, noise, disruption, danger, fear, and police-presence have all gone UP. The only thing that's gone DOWN during the past year is the property values of the neighboring homes. Many nearby homeowners reluctantly were compelled to sell and relocate in the past 18 months. The Shelter and the Drop-In Center were (and remain) a MISTAKE thrown onto us in a place where they should never have been built. And now it is WE who are paying for it. We are sure that a tiny handful of genuinely decent Youths with ACTUAL problems are benefiting from the 360kids programs, and that's great, however, the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of the troublemakers coming to The Hub are NOT looking to receive help or to better themselves, they come to hang-out, party, cause trouble, trespass, get drunk, stoned, and be a general nuisance. The DETRIMENT to our community is far out-weighing any BENEFIT being received by anyone else, and that makes it blatantly unacceptable. The fault rests as much with the troublemakers as it does with their babysitters, or supervisors. They don't seem to understand that when they ENCOURAGE these "youths" to come to their facility, those youths bring their friends, and their friends' friends, and when the Home-Base (or, "Ground Zero" as we call it) closes it's doors at 10:00pm, the minimal supervision these nuisances had now dwindles to nothing, and the "group" quickly becomes "a mob", once their other friends arrive with booze or drugs. The managers have gone home; they don't have to deal with the results. For US, this is OUR HOME, and we have no place else to go from 10pm till often 4 in the morning. We have to deal with the mess they dump on us, without their accountability or responsibility. They have the belief that once the animals leave their zoo, they are NOT responsible for what the animals do outside their walls and their fences. 360kids being at this location DOES NOT help the community, it is HURTING the community. "360" is the number of days out of the year that these so-called "kids" are causing trouble in our community. And, "KIDS"? What...? Many of these "troubled youths" are between the ages of 18 and 26. In most places around the world, individuals that age are voluntarily serving their country in the military or are starting their Bachelor's Degree at school. And by OUR reckoning, individuals of that age are actually ADULTS, not "kids". But, hey, maybe calling them "kids" or "youths" makes it easier to ignore their crude and unacceptable behaviors. After all, a 25 year old ADULT should be accountable and responsible for his or her own behavior, right? But, a 25 year old "at-risk youth" should have his diaper changed, given a bottle of formula, and tucked-in with a joint. Right. Accountability and Responsibility.... isn't that what they're supposed to be teaching at "The Hub"? How can they teach what they can't recognize themselves? We will post as much media as we can on this page. THE TRUTH, nothing more, nothing less. And maybe, through our pictures and videos, everybody will actually learn something.

Blood-chilling screaming from around the corner in this residential building. Turn your volume up! Why is this attendee of 360kids screaming? Is he being attacked by vampires? Is he caught in a bear-trap? Is he tripping on bad drugs? Or maybe, since this is happening on January 2nd at about 10:24pm, he's only just now woken up from an alcohol-induced snooze after partying too much on New Year's Eve and is terrified of his own hangover? We may never know, and since we can't see what's going on, we can only speculate. But we do know that within minutes the police show up. But, Why Are We Surprised? It's the Reality of 'The Hub': Screaming, disturbance, nighttime, police, no security, and an unwanted spectacle for all the neighbors.

The inevitable trouble is quickly being seen, felt, and documented. Residents were blindsided by government officials' decisions-- exactly as T.R.O.T.H. reported at the beginning. Here are excerpts from the new article:

The email to tenants in Mackenzie Green arrived at 8:29 a.m. One minute later, the Krasman Centre opened its offices in the building.

The communication from York Region’s Housing York Inc. on July 6, several said, was their first notice Krasman had moved its daily Richmond Hill drop-in program for people facing homelessness and other vulnerabilities into the building until the end of this year.

In the weeks since, tenants said, life at the apartment building near the Richmond Hill GO Station has felt less safe.

Speaking to a reporter July 30, many said security provided by Housing York wasn’t adequate and they felt the region, in finding Krasman a home for the rest of the year, ignored the effect this would have on Mackenzie Green.

“On principle, we agree vulnerable individuals need a place to be served, but not at the expense of seniors and children,” resident Muhammad Tahir said.

“Nothing is being done and every day there’s a new issue.”

A permanent location elsewhere, still undisclosed, is being renovated and won’t be available until the end of the year.

In a statement provided by the region on July 7, Joshua Scholten, Housing York’s housing operations director, said tenants “were informed on June 22 that a community partner would occupy” the space at 145 Essex Ave., but tenants said no warning was given about Krasman’s program before Krasman opened and Housing York did not meet with tenants until July 15.
...drop-in participants, sometimes loud or intoxicated, can stand outside the building or in the parkette next door early in the morning or late at night.

People living near the building also said they were surprised and concerned by Krasman’s appearance.

“What’s York Region thinking?” asked Ruth Howard, a homeowner who said a neighbour recently removed an intoxicated man from their yard. Howard previously saw the same man urinating on a fence across the street.

She also described a young person who had been “stalking my house” for 45 minutes and seemed to taunt her. “He was leering, blowing kisses,” Howard alleged.

Local politicians have also heard from Mackenzie Green tenants and neighbours about their concerns.

Coun. Karen Cilevitz, who represents the areas, agreed that there could have been greater consultation before Kasman’s move, but noted in a statement that would have “no bearing” as Housing York was under no obligation to tell the public.

He's a A Spaced Invader! This trespassing drug addict doesn't understand boundaries, English, or the rules of civilized society. He's hostile, violent, self-entitled, and as you'll see near the end of the video, he's an attendee of 360kids. His name is 'Justin', and in a word, he's simply crazy. Beware if you're unlucky enough to encounter him on your property, and do not approach him. He's dangerous and unpredictable, and we've personally seen him beat someone up on the sidewalk in mid-day after they refused to give him a cigarette. Going forward, you'll see a lot more of 'Justin' in future videos, as he overdoses, screams, attacks, and creates a general nuisance for the neighborhood. This particular incident happened fairly recently, on April 13, 2026 at 11:26am. This is The Reality of 'The Hub'.

Hate? Love? Abuse? Yeah, all of it apparently. Loud, obnoxious, and violent, we nicknamed this attendee of 360kids as "Banshee" due to her numerous previous shrieking rude behaviors. She has 99 problems, and the guy she's beating on is evidently one of them. Two question arise as A Banshee Abuses: First, why is she acting this way? And, second, WHY is the guy just taking the punishment from her?! A third potential question is, why isn't the Staff of 360kids doing anything to intervene? We'll never get reasonable answers to any of those questions, but what we do get is an unwelcome late-Autumn show for the whole neighborhood. This situation occurred on November 26 at 1:07pm.

A Deep-Fried Potato? Yes, that's him. We had produced this 7TH Part of the "Deep-Fried Potato" Series, and then forgot about it... for nearly 5 years, it was sitting in our archive collecting digital dust. We're publishing it now just to get rid of it. This attendee of 360kids named 'Cam' is returning for this final installment and that's it, because by now, this potato is definitely overcooked and done. We promise! There will be no more episodes after this one! The potato is finally on the plate! This was originally filmed on July 20, 2021 starting at11:09pm. This is 'A Deep-Fried Potato... One More Time!', and this IS The Reality of 'The Hub'.

The Reality of "The Hub" - Exposed

Police at 'The Hub' has become such common sight that it feels like they're there every day. But in Reality, over the last 10 years, how many individual calls for service by police and other first-responders have there actually been? Well, in this video, as we watch yet another attendee of 360kids getting arrested by police at 'The Hub', we'll attempt to answer that question, and the number that is calculated will both shock you and disturb you. But keep two things in mind: First, we were only counting incidents that we've documented or were specifically aware of, which obviously doesn't include the many calls for service which occurred while we were elsewhere or otherwise indisposed. And second, this video was produced a few months ago, and naturally does not count any incidents during that period of time to date. Both of these elements suggest that the actual number is higher than that shown in this video, but either way, it still makes 'The Hub' at 10415 Yonge Street the Most-Policed Address in Town, if not in all of York Region. This is our 625th video published to The Reality of 'The Hub', and the arrest in this video occurred on May 18, starting at 11:24pm.

In case you missed it, don't worry, there'll be another event similar to this one soon. Stay Tuned.... In the meantime, here's what happened:

Window of L.C.B.O. Smashed by Brick in Late Night Incident.

In the early morning hours of July 19th, 2026, police attended at the L.C.B.O. location at 10375 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill, in response to an alarm call at the liquor store, at approximately 3:00am.

The front window had apparently been smashed-in by a brick of concrete, in what locals described as a botched break-and-enter or burglary attempt. In fact, several bottles of alcohol had been taken from the store.

Shortly after, police located and arrested a single suspect nearby, and collected the items he allegedly stole. There were no further incidents, and no injuries reported.
