Fall migration has started, so please help our feathered friends find their way home by turning off any unnessecery lights from dusk to dawn between August 15 and November 30.

Can you hear me now?

👂️ Owls are well known for their incredible sense of hearing, but did you know that their ears are actually offset on their heads so they can pinpoint sounds better? Humans can tell if a sound came from the left or right based on volume and timing differences between ears. The placement of owls' ears allows them to also tell if a sound is above or below, in front or behind, and do so with pinpoint accuracy in total darkness.
