Last Wednesday we hosted our annual Aussie PairsTournament. Special thanks to, Richmond Hill Retirement Residence for their sponsorship of this event. Mother Nature was at her best. After a bit of a cloudy start clear skies and warm temperatures prevailed. Thanks to the 12 teams who participated, for your support of Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club. Also thanks to those volunteers that help to make our tournaments possible. See the results in the photos below.

We went to a lawn bowling tournament at Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club and found ourselves some curlers! Thanks for a great day and great bowling!!

Antoinette and Vito are looking forward to this challenge representing the Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club in the Ontario Lawn Bowls Association Mixed Pair Championship at the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club in September.

Should be awesome

We now have all the results from the District Mixed Pairs Playdowns and here is the line up for the Ontario Championships.

The event will be held at the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club on September 12/13th.

Congratulations to all the qualifiers.

Yesterday we hosted our annual Peaches and Cream Tournament. Special thanks to, Delmanor Elgin MIlls a long time sponsor of Richmond Hill lawn bowling. Thanks to Hannah Williams from Delmanor for her visit, delivering delicious Peaches and Cream treats for the players. Mother Nature was at her best with clear skies and warm temperatures. We broke a record this morning at the Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club

We had 19 bowlers for our Saturday 4321 x 2 games league this morning. Never this many in a really longtime.

Another record, all 6 of the first game winners, didn't win the 2nd game. So we had 12 game winners out of 19. That means our lawn bowlers are equally skillful. Pretty cool.

In about two hours, bowls becomes the first sport to start competition at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and Team Canada is ready.
