Elsipogtog First Nation - Animal Control would like to send out a friendly reminder to dog owners to please ensure that dogs are not left unleashed and freely roaming around the community.

Unattended and unleashed dogs pose safety risk to pedestrians’ cyclist, motorist and to the animals themselves.

Dog owners are also reminded to spay or neuter their dog, as having an unfixed dog often leads to the forming of packs , which can pose an additional safety risk to the community.

Please be advised that dogs roaming/unleashed will be seized by Elsipogtog Animal Control and surrendered over to the SPCA at the owner’s expense.

EFN Animal Control thanks everyone for their understanding and cooperation.
