Trust 15 Youth Community Support Organization

Trust 15 Youth Community Support Organization Trust 15 is unique in its approach to reaching “at risk” kids in our community. Trust 15 will be running two annual programs. ROM, Nubian Book Club.

We are able to identify and make contact with such youths, through a relationship with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). Once the contact has been made we liaise with the child’s guardian in order to introduce our program and explain the benefits. Our core staff is made up of recent graduates and a selection of parents of the participants. Th

e program is structured to expose the kids to positive role models from the community who can mentor them as they grow into becoming successful young men and women who make positive life contributions. By introducing the kids to events and places that may have been closed to them in the past, Trust 15 allows them to share life-changing experiences. A School year program that runs from Sept. to June and a summer program, that runs for seven weeks during the summer. The school year program meets once per week for two hours for mentoring and life skill tutoring. Twice per month the groups attend events in the GTA eg. The summer program is similar to the school year program with dance and Basketball include in the program. Target Audience

Trust 15 programs are best suited to young men and women, ages 13 to 19, who have shown the potential to succeed in life, but do not have the necessary mentoring, and/or monetary resources to make their dreams a reality. Board of Directors

A powerful moment today at Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School.

Students had the incredible opportunity to welcome back, (Dillon Brooks) who returned to the school where his journey began. Seeing him come back to inspire the youth who now walk the same halls was truly meaningful.

What brought me the most joy was seeing the excitement in the students’ eyes. The smiles, the laughter, the pictures, and the conversations. Moments like this matter.

It was also wonderful connecting with educators, community leaders, friends, and students who continue to support and uplift our youth.

I am grateful to have been there representing Trust 15 Youth Community Support Organization and to witness such a positive and inspiring moment for the next generation.

Thank you to Dillon Brooks for taking the time to return and encourage the youth. When young people see what is possible, it reminds them that their dreams are within reach.
