Our hearts are with the Okanagan💛

Wildfires are burning across the North Okanagan and South Okanagan Similkameen this week, with thousands evacuated and homes lost. Two trusted local foundations are coordinating relief and recovery efforts right now - and every dollar given through them is tax-receipted and goes directly to people on the ground.

Since 1999, the Revelstoke Community Foundation has distributed over $2.2 million to local projects and scholarships.

That’s not a number - that’s rescue training for RevSAR, science programs in local classrooms, hospice care for families, fresh food for the food bank and dozens of scholarships sending Revelstoke students into their futures.

Every gift stays here. Every grant works here.

Summer in Revelstoke means camp season - and every child deserves a spot. 🏕️

This spring, RCF granted $5,000 to the City of Revelstoke's Youth Access Summer Camp program, helping local families cover the cost of camp so no kid has to sit summer out.

This project was funded through our Community Fund and the Cougar Baseball Fund - everyday giving that adds up to real summer memories for Revelstoke kids.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who make our 2nd-Year Scholarship program possible.

To the students who applied - thank you for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to continuing your education. We are proud to support former Revelstoke Secondary School graduates as they pursue their goals beyond graduation.
