🎉Great news! The CSRD, partnering with the City of Revelstoke, is receiving over $2.8 million through the Community stream of the Build Communities Strong Fund (BCSF) to improve local community infrastructure.

🛠️The CSRD, in conjunction with the City of Revelstoke, is using the funding to develop a Regional Septage Receiving Station to provide residents and businesses in Revelstoke, Electoral Area B, and parts of Electoral Areas A and E with a safe, local option for septic waste disposal. This will reduce the need for costly long-distance hauling and translates into substantial cost savings for residents.

👉 This funding was administered by the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM)’s Strategic Priorities Fund.
