Join us for this free community event in honour of National Grief & Bereavement Day!

Start the evening with a presentation by bestselling author and speaker Yvonne Heath, who reminds us that we don’t need perfect words, we simply need to Just Show Up. Yvonne will discuss grief, loss and practical tips on how to support the people in your life who are grieving.

While you learn and reflect, enjoy refreshments and an artisanal dessert charcuterie box thoughtfully prepared by Hospice Renfrew.

To wrap up the evening, you’re invited to light a memorial candle in honour of a loved one and take a walk through Hospice Renfrew’s ice lantern garden path, a temporary art installation winding through the hospice grounds and providing a unique opportunity to pause, remember, and commemorate those we are grieving.

Shine a Light evening will take place on Wednesday, November 18 at 7pm in the lower level event space at Hospice Renfrew.
