HELP IS NEEDED!! The GMC Education Ministry is looking for an additional 1-2 volunteers to teach the Junior Youth Sunday School class (Grade 6+). The GMC SS year will starts today. We already have the curriculum and there's a lot of craft resources available to provide our kids with a meaningful Sunday school time. If you are interested, please contact Marianne Penner .

It is with deep sadness we announce that we lost two of our beloved members on the weekend.

Clarence Krause passed away suddenly on Saturday night. Pray for comfort & peace at this time for his family. His memorial service will be Sat, Aug 29th, 1:30 at Grace Mennonite Church. Obituary:

Sue Schellenberg passed away in Swift Current on Saturday night. Please pray for her family as they travel & make all the arrangements. GMC Ministry Volunteer List: A new volunteer list is out in your mailboxes for the fall & new year. This is your opportunity to be involved in ministry. Each act we do at church helps us be church together. Without volunteers we would simply close our doors. This is especially important until we get a new pastor. Check your mailboxes for the duties & privileges we need to fill. We have put stars next to the things that we are most in need of.
Please sign your name & check whatever areas you might be willing to serve in at some time. If you have previously signed up & there are no changes: do nothing, & you will be kept in the rotation. If you wish to sign up or make changes: Fill in your name & check the areas you are willing to help with. Training is available for everything. Thanks so much for being willing to serve!! We Love our volunteers for everything you do to serve for our services & around our church. We are truly blessed! If you are curious or unsure about exactly what a job entails, contact Lynanne at the office for more information. She will answer any questions you may have. Take the time to pray about this & see what God may place on your heart to do. We will soon be doing planning for the fall & into the new year. Please return this by Sept 27 at the latest. Completed forms can be put in the offering box or returned to Lynanne at the office.
