🌱 Introducing Dr. Michelle Carkner!

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Carkner (University of Manitoba) as the new lead researcher on our Long-Term C and N₂O Monitoring and Climate-Smart Management of Organic Grain Production Systems project.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for advancing organic agriculture, including her recent dissertation evaluating farmer-selected wheat populations from Canada’s first organic participatory breeding program.

Dr. Carkner takes over this role from Dr. Martin Entz, now Professor Emeritus. We sincerely thank Dr. Entz for his years of leadership and lasting contributions to organic agriculture research, practice and policy. 👏
