Wâhkôhtowin Harm Reduction Regina's first Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) opened in May 2021; and was re-named Wâhkôhtowin Harm Reduction (WHR) in May 2023. Regina's only such site.

In December 2024, WHR went from being an urgent needs site to a federally exempted consumption site.

Our staff has attended to multiple overdoses within the community, necessitating the administration of multiple doses of naloxone per individual.
The overdoses appear to be occurring rapidly and with increased severity than other overdoses we’ve experienced.
Although we haven't obtained a recent sample for testing, prior samples have indicated an unusually high concentration of fentanyl and/or benzodiazepines. We strongly advise that you have your samples tested before use, never use substances alone, carry multiple doses of naloxone, and call 911 if you're unable to revive the person with naloxone or if they're experiencing respiratory distress.

Our orange t-shirts are in. New this year, we have youth sizes small & medium. There are no youth large as it is the same as an adult small. Adult sizes are small-3xl. Costs are $15/youth and $25/adult. Unfortunately the hoodies are delayed a couple weeks but when they arrive they will be $60 and be in sizes adult small-3xl.

**IMPORTANT ALERT**
Today, we tested a cannabis sample that exhibited blue and white discoloration. It tested positive for both fentanyl and benzodiazepines. This sample was brought to us by a minor who did not obtain it from a licensed dispensary.

It is crucial that you have any drugs, including cannabis (if not purchased from a legal dispensary), tested. We are open seven days a week from 9 AM to 4 PM at 1635 11th Ave in Regina, SK. Remember, our testing is entirely confidential and free of charge. Don’t take chances with your safety—testing can save your life and the lives of your friends using these substances.

We are thrilled to announce we are open at 1635 11th Avenue and are eager to serve our wonderful community once again! As the summer heat continues to rise, we recognize the pressing need to help those who may be struggling to stay cool and comfortable.

To aid in this effort, we kindly request donations of the following items:

- Refreshing freezies or frozen treats to provide a sweet escape from the heat
- Hydrating water bottles to keep everyone quenched
- Refillable water bottles and durable cups that can be used with our convenient water fountain
