Today, Regina’s Ukrainian community gathered to celebrate Vyshyvanka Day, organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Regina Branch.

Vyshyvanka is more than traditional clothing. It is a symbol of identity, resilience, freedom, heritage, and unity. Every stitch carries the story of generations, love for our culture, and the strength of the Ukrainian spirit.

UCC Regina sincerely thanks everyone who came together in unity and support. Despite the rain and thunder, we stood proudly side by side - grateful to Canada for opening its arms and becoming a safe home for so many Ukrainians while our homeland continues to suffer through the devastation of war.

While we gathered under the sound of thunder, families in Ukraine continue to live through the sound of bombs, sirens, and loss. Behind this war are the tears of children, wives, mothers, fathers, and all those grieving loved ones taken too soon.

Today reminded us that no matter where we are in the world, we remain united through our culture, our community, and our hope for peace.

A special thank you to Michael Kram for your continuous support of the Ukrainian community!
Your kindness and commitment are deeply appreciated.
