LIFT Evangelistic Ministries Our vision is to see the lives of people transformed through preaching the gospel. There is hope in Jesus!

The name LIFT is based on Psalms 40:2 which says, “He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.”

The heart of LIFT Evangelistic Ministries is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to those who are crying out and looking for answers. He is the God who hears, and He desires to reach down and lift you out of the pit of despair you may find yourself in. Since 2014, LIFT has been bringing this message of hope in Jesus to literally thousands of people in large festivals on University campuses and in different cities. In this time, we have seen many lives transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We would love for you to partner with us in our growing vision to reach as many people as possible in as many nations as possible. Together we can be the hand of Jesus reaching down to save and transform.

What a final night of the Gospel Festival in Lira! So much joy on the field!

So many people were touched by the power of God, and we heard many wonderful testimonies of healing. Tonight, 238 people responded to the Gospel and filled out decision cards.

We thank God for His grace throughout this week—for helping us in every way, keeping our team healthy, and touching the city of Lira.

To God be all the glory!

Great day in Lira!

We began the morning with a Gospel Festival for kids, with over 2,000 children in attendance. 515 children came forward to pray a prayer of salvation!

In the evening, we gathered again for the third night of the Gospel Festival, where 148 people responded to the Gospel and filled out decision cards.

We are so thankful for what God is doing and continue praying for an even greater harvest!

Today our team had the opportunity to visit a prison and share the Gospel and personal testimonies with about 300 inmates. It was an incredibly special time, and our team was deeply blessed by the opportunity. Unfortunately, no pictures from the prison, as photography was not permitted.

Afterward, we visited another college and had a great time connecting with the students.

Part of our team also hosted a seminar for local Sunday school teachers, helping prepare and plan for the children’s crusade taking place tomorrow.

Even though we have had to postpone our mission in Lira until September due to the Ebola outbreak, the work on the ground has not slowed down.

Our local team is firing on all cylinders—building momentum, strengthening partnerships, mobilizing churches, and preparing the way for a fruitful mission when the time comes.

Please continue to pray with us for Lira, for the team on the ground, and for all that God is preparing for September.
