Tanna Dietrich didn't wait until she felt ready, she built Balloon Bar YQR into one of Saskatchewan's go-to event decor businesses anyway. 🎈

As a Cohort 1 recipient of the Young Entrepreneur Bursary Program, Tanna walked away with more than $5,000, she gained mentorship, peer connections, and a support network across the province.

"Entrepreneurship can be really lonely. These long-term connections are like gold for entrepreneurs, especially in small to mid-sized cities."

If you're an entrepreneur aged 18–35 building something in Saskatchewan, Cohort 2 applications are open now. Deadline is July 17.

2025 was a year of momentum for Saskatchewan business.

Together with our members, local chambers, partners, sponsors, and stakeholders, we strengthened connections, supported young entrepreneurs, brought business leaders together, and advanced priorities on provincial, national, and international stages.

This carousel highlights just a few of the ways Saskatchewan's business community made an impact in 2025.

Thank you to everyone who helped make that work possible.

Yesterday, we hosted nearly 40 deputy ministers and Crown corporation leaders for a sold-out Deputy Minister Breakfast.

For our members, this event is about access. It's an opportunity for direct conversation with the senior officials who shape how government priorities get implemented across the province. The questions were substantive, and the networking had the kind of energy that comes from having the right people in the room for the right reasons.

Thank you to presenting sponsor MNP, supporting sponsor WEALTH (WCPD Inc), and friend sponsors Mosaic Company - Canada and PearTree Canada for their support.

Last week, the Saskatchewan Chamber hosted the Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, for a luncheon and fireside chat with our members.

The conversation covered federal investment in Prairie business competitiveness and support for Saskatchewan's key industries, including innovation, workforce development, and many others.

Direct access to the people making federal decisions matters. The Chamber thanks Minister Olszewski for bringing that conversation to our members.
