2370 Royal Canadian Army Cadets

2370 Royal Canadian Army Cadets This is an unofficial page that is not intended to represent in any way the policies or procedures of either the DND, CAF or the Cadet Leagues of Canada.

This is not a CAF account. The page is maintained on behalf of the support committee for 2370 RCACC. 2370 RCACC has a long outstanding history of developing the attributes of good leadership and Citizenship to the youth and young adults for over 67 years. We continue to strive to provide a solid foundation of self-discipline, motivation and teamwork that will emulate with Cadets and young adults t

hroughout their lives. Cadets will learn how to teach others, learn safe fi****ms handling, Canoeing, Winter & summer survival tactics, the opportunity to participate in local or national activities where they have the ability to meet friends across the globe, these are only a few things we offer. Our program cost is minimal that involves some fundraising to purchase specialized equipment not funded by the Government that enhances the Cadet experience.

This week, RCMP ERT members spent time with 2370 Cadet Corps, sharing insights into the tools, training, and teamwork involved in maintaining community safety. The visit focused on education and awareness—offering cadets a closer look at how specialized teams operate during critical incidents.
Tools of the trade:
Advanced protective gear and tactical equipment
Specialized robots used to safely assess and handle high-risk situations
Specialized vehicles for coordinated response
Reliable communication and observation systems
Key approaches:
Careful planning and risk assessment
De-escalation and crisis management
Strong teamwork and ongoing training
Opportunities like this help build understanding and strengthen connections by providing youth with a clearer picture of public safety work and the importance of preparation, responsibility, and collaboration.
A big thank you to our presenters! The cadets had a great time!

Today's weather had me thinking about our cold weather activity back in January, so enjoy this throwback! Cadets learned how to dress for the weather, then packed up some sleds and strapped on their snowshoes to pull their gear into the park. They set up tents, lit some lanterns, and some learned to cross-country ski. It was about the most fun you could have in close to -30!

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing an Army Cadet. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a young life dedicated to community service.

To the cadet’s family, friends, and fellow cadets, we extend our deepest condolences. No words can ease the pain of such a loss, but we hope you may find comfort in knowing that their commitment, spirit, and determination left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing them.

The Royal Canadian Army Cadets and The Army Cadet League of Canada are large regimental families. Their memory will remain a part of our regimental family, and we will continue to uphold the ideals they embodied with pride and gratitude.

During this difficult time, we encourage everyone to lean on one another and seek support as needed. Grief is not carried alone, and we stand together as a family in mourning and remembrance.

May they rest in peace.
