Ali Diehl had a year filled with a lot of firsts.

She attended her first World Para Swimming Championships, was named the recipient of the 2025 Regional Tom Longboat Award, announced by Swimming Canada as Breakout Swimmer of the Year in the Paralympic Program and received the Saskatchewan Sport Awards Youth Female Athlete of the Year award.

The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame has a new exhibit! Game Changers: Pride In Sport, celebrating Pride Month in Saskatchewan. The exhibit highlights the stories and accomplishments of Saskatchewan’s 2SLGBTQIA+ athletes who have broken down barriers.

As part of the exhibit, Oliver Tymo, who did the research and put together the exhibit, will host a discussion on the research and curation of the exhibit at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 11 at the Hall of Fame (2205 Victoria Avenue). The event is free of charge, with donations accepted.
